The mission of MOMMAS House is to provide any pregnant or parenting young
woman, (age 17-24) with a stable environment; one where she can learn the
necessary and practical skills necessary to become an independent working
parent.
Our Goals are to:
Provide young mothers with a home where responsibility is stressed;
Prevent child abuse by alleviating the isolation experienced by many young
mothers;
Avoid child neglect by teaching parenting skills and the recognition of normal
child development;
Offer a stable environment - nurture and encourage mother to obtain training
and schooling;
Assist the woman with employment and independent living.
