rCr is a grassroots volunteer, non profit (501c-3), hunger relief organization and
think tank, whose purpose is to obtain and provide supplemental food  to restock
the dwindling shelves of local food pantries, soup kitchens, safe homes and
shelters. rCr is raising awareness and making a difference concerning a crisis
surrounding all of us; that too often people ignore…the many children, seniors,
women and men that live with hunger and in poverty.

Our niche to beat hunger is unique. We collaborate with scheduled events (such
as concerts, schools, sporting events, celebrations, etc...) and coordinate
projects where attendees are asked to bring a CAN of (healthy and nutritious)
food to donate. One CAN doesn't make a big difference by itself, however, if 50 or
100 or 1000 each bring one item - we have a substantial amount of supplemental
food that can fill in the shelves of a local food pantry or shelter! Unfortunately the
base of need is increasing (at times, people are turned away!) while resources
are steadily declining.

rock CAN roll, is an organization that brings together people who have and
people who need with people who CAN!   Our projects bring out the best in
everyone - donors, volunteers and recipients. We raise the humanity of the
events we collaborate with. I know that when everyone contributes a small part,
together we CAN do great things!
