Pet Safe Coalition (Locust Valley)
Participating in the focused and targeted educational program at pet and
community events and teaching people how to plan for disasters with
their pets. The Pet Safe Coalition also needs support in publicizing the
program. One goal is to start a school program to teach elementary
students about how to prepare pets. (Would like to partner with pet
therapy dogs at bide-a- wee and get the program started in all of Nassau
County schools and perhaps get scout troops involved.)
