Doubleday Babcock Senior Center (Oyster Bay)
Prepare bulk mailings,set-up for special events, cleanup for special events,
coat check, reception volunteer, registration volunteer, counter help at our
Oyster Festival.
Availability: We are open Mon.-Fri. from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Most of our
special events take place on Saturday from 9:00 AM on. Teens can be 13-19
years old, depending on the job opportunity. Training would be on the job.

Garden Care Center (Franklin Square)
All days of the week, volunteers are needed to help with residents any
hours between 9 am and 9 pm. A minimum of sixteen years, a recent
physical, and one reference are required

The Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation (Port Washington)
Assist with clients getting off buses, help with arts and crafts with clients,
general office work, data entry, stuffing and mailings.  Assist at events
when needed. Usual Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm or any part thereof.
Particular talents (art, music, crafts, etc.) used to entertain both clients and
caregivers, approx 1 hour.
