Teens Take Charge
Interfaith Nutrition Network (Hempstead)
Soup Kitchen - Assist in preparing, serving and clean-up of meal; one day
per week; shifts vary in different soup kitchens, Stock and inventory
pantry, Sort clothing and help distribute during meal time, Bag groceries
or personal care items for distribution to guests
Shelters - Conduct story time, arts & crafts projects or games with the
children, Holiday arts and crafts projects, Tutoring, Conduct a beauty
clinic, i.e., make-up and hair styling, Assist staff with various projects
around the house, e.g. sorting clothing donations, organizing closets,
helping to prepare a meal.

North Shore Community Church Food Pantry (Oyster Bay)
Volunteers needed Saturdays from 8:30 to 10:30 to set up food pantry and
distribute groceries to clients.
